Whew...what a weekend

On a whim, I decided to even out the dip where the driveway meets the street and drafted my oldest and SO.  Of course, I had to wait until noon to start.  I'm just weird that way.  I have to move when the mood strikes and it struck at noon.  Took us two hours to mix, pour, spread and form 9 bags of 80lb concrete.  I am now one with all those concrete workers.  They deserve a beer.  Many beers.  It's hot work.  Once you start you can't stop.  I sweated 4 gallons and I'm still trying to replace it.  It may take me all week to replenish that much water.

The oldest boy had to work barefooted.  Ancient slaves and pyramids again.  One day that argument won't work.  I have to say, though, that he was a trooper and actually sweated.  All these years we thought he couldn't but guess what?  He sure can.  And he worked instead of standing around making caustic remarks.

I then moved to fix a bike, fix the gate, hang a clothes line, work on the RV and move a couch into the living room.

I'm tired.  I have to work tomorrow.  Margarita tomorrow evening.

And all's right with the world.

I loved all your hard work. It's SO much easier to get the motorhome in and out now!!! And it was kind of you to not mention how you've been hounding me to hang the laundry for years.

I would never harp on you about how long I've been harping on you about hanging the laundry just like I wouldn't harp on you about how long I've been talking to you about coconut oil for dementia and acne.
